About the role
During the three month internship at NCR, I was fortunate to work with a variety of individuals and teams that influence the daily lives of users through technology in the hospitality, retail and banking industries.
As a UI/UX and service designer, the unique project work I completed spanned between these industries. I also participated in external-facing activities which included leading a discussion on micro-transactions in gaming and I facilitated thought provoking workshops instructing others on how design thinking is beneficial to the end product NCR delivers.
My contributions included:
- Researching and designing a banking chat assistant
- Designing web pages for an internal banking marketplace
- Conducting an accessibility review and redesign of a cash and cryptocurrency transfer service
